This is me aged 10 with my niece, Lissa and my nephew Lee. Lissa is seen here attempting to get a job as a gargoyle at Lichfield Cathedral. She is now fully recovered. As you can see I'm sporting a rather fetching hairdo created by my mother with the aid of a pudding basin and a roller brush. It was this haircut alone that won me the role of Jesus in our school production of Jesus Christ Superstar (and my angelic singing voice also of course). Little known fact: apparently Jesus spent most of his time wearing an old night-dress covered in tomato puree….
